Use sunlight as energy—and information.
The annular solar concept is intended to power local operation while its changing response contributes environmental and system-health evidence for LuminarLink to interpret.

SolarCents is being developed as a distributed irrigation system that is powered by the LuminarLink intelligence engine and understands conditions where water meets the root zone. Its solar system is intended not only to harvest energy, but to contribute another layer of environmental awareness to local and property-wide decisions.
One node. Four connected functions.
Powered by LuminarLink, SolarCents brings the essential layers of intelligent irrigation together at the point of use. The design direction combines solar-derived energy and awareness, evidence from the root zone, application-specific water delivery, and property-level coordination in one distributed platform.
Most products ask a solar panel for power. SolarCents is designed to ask what the solar system can tell us.
Energy source · Environmental signal · System-health evidenceThe annular solar concept is intended to power local operation while its changing response contributes environmental and system-health evidence for LuminarLink to interpret.
Root-zone information gives the system a local view of moisture and environmental response instead of relying on the watering schedule alone.
The current design uses an adjustable 0–360° pop-up nozzle while the broader platform is intended to support multiple nozzle configurations as development advances.
Each node contributes local evidence to LuminarLink, giving the property a connected model while preserving precise control at each landscape zone.
Features and physical configuration remain subject to engineering, testing, validation, and production development.
The whole property in view
A landscape is a connected investment—lawns, trees, gardens, planting beds, water, and the infrastructure beneath them. SolarCents is being designed to give each area its own local intelligence while helping LuminarLink understand how the property behaves as a whole.
Root-zone evidence can help the system respond to the actual conditions supporting turf, trees, gardens, and other established planting areas.
Local sensing and control are intended to reduce one-size-fits-all watering by allowing individual areas to respond to their own needs.
The current adjustable 0–360° pop-up nozzle is the starting configuration. The broader platform is intended to support additional nozzle options as development advances.
Additional nodes can extend local awareness and precise control across different zones while contributing to one coordinated property view.
Designed to help every part of the landscape receive attention based on what is happening there—not simply what the clock says.
Discuss a SolarCents pilotFrom engineering to real ground
SolarCents is moving through development deliberately. The goal is to validate the complete system—from sensing and solar intelligence to water delivery and connected control—before broader availability.
Refine the physical system, electronics, sensing behavior, LuminarLink decision logic, and real-world operating requirements.
Place early systems in selected properties to observe performance, installation needs, landscape variation, and long-term behavior.
Use validated field evidence to guide manufacturing, certification, service planning, and a responsible path to market.
We are building relationships now with the people who understand the problem, can help validate the solution, or want to follow the path toward launch.
